The Fox Covert has been a family-run pub and restaurant for almost 25 years under landlords Chris and Sue Neil.
With two sons of their own, Chris and Sue say their North Yorkshire business owes much of its charm and appeal to the friendly atmosphere generated by the long-serving staff who have become an extended family.
Since taking charge of The Fox Covert, the couple have insisted on keeping it a traditional country pub by ensuring it is tastefully decorated, always warm and inviting and provides the best food and drink in the region.
A delightfully peaceful venue for visitors seeking a tranquil location for a drink and meal during the week. The Fox Covert also comes alive at weekends when Chris and Sue often invite live musicians to perform and take advantage of the late 1am licence. The weekly pub quiz on a Monday is also a popular draw for general knowledge buffs competing for cash prizes.
The Fox Covert welcomes families, business customers, regulars and non-regulars, and is the ideal place to meet friends and socialise. Visit us and you will find a cosy, caring and excellent venue in a smoke-free atmosphere.
We are open every day from 11.30am till late.
